Ms Sharminee Kumaradevan Lic Ac MBAcC

Acupuncturist

Sharminee Kumaradevan trained at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture where she completed a three-year course of study. Her training was followed by clinical practice in Hangzhou TCM Hospital in the Zheijang province of China, where she was able to expand her experience of traditional Chinese medicine.

 

Sharminee specialises in obstetric acupuncture and offers treatments for the following:

  • IVF assistance
  • Morning sickness
  • Breech presentation correction
  • Symphysis pubis pain
  • Back pain
  • Labour induction

She also offers a course of treatment for pre-conception care and treats other women’s health-related conditions like PMS, painful periods and menopausal symptoms.

 

Sharminee also works as a health and medical writer and recently co-authored A Pocketbook of Chinese Medicine (in press) which will be published by Churchill Livingstone in 2008. She is a member of the Association of British Science Writers, the Guild of Health Writers, and the British Acupuncture Council.
