Dr Virginia Brown FRCA
Consultant Anaesthetist, Subspecialty Cardio-thoracic and General anaesthesia

 

Dr Virginia Brown trained at University College London Hospitals (UCLH), spend a sabbatical year in Laiden University Hospital and a year as a research clinical fellow at UCLH.

 

She was appointed Consultant at Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals in 2002 and is now Consultant in Cardiothoracic and General anaesthesia at Barts and the London.

 

More recently, she developed an interest in anaesthesia for gynaecological procedures and in particular pain relief, postoperative nausea and vomiting and total intravenous anaesthesia.

 

She has been working with Mr Morris for more than two years and is appreciated for her empathetic approach to patients and relatives.

 

She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and member of Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain.
